Subjects & Curriculum
Subjects organize everything you learn. Nest them, attach goals and resources, and let the Plan page turn scattered materials into a real curriculum.
Most learning tools give you either a pile of unconnected decks or someone else's fixed course. Interact is built around a third option: a curriculum you design yourself, that adapts as you go.
Subjects
A subject is one topic you're learning. It holds everything related to that topic: interactives, resources, goals, and notes. Subjects can nest inside each other, so "Spanish" might contain "Vocabulary" and "Grammar," and "Grammar" might contain "Past Tense."
Create subjects from the Plan page. Star the ones you're focused on right now, and archive the ones you're done with. Drag to reorder them so the layout matches how you think.
Goals
Goals answer the question "why am I learning this?" Attach them to a subject and check them off as you get there. A goal like "hold a five minute conversation" changes how you study in a way that "finish the deck" never will.
Resources
Resources are the raw materials of your curriculum: videos, articles, books, courses, anything with a link. Save them to a subject as you find them. When you're ready to study one, generate interactives from it with one tap and the resource becomes reviewable material.
The Plan page
The Plan page is home base for your curriculum. It shows your subjects with their goals and resources, so in one glance you can see what you're learning, why, and what's next.
Building a curriculum with AI
Starting from scratch? Describe what you want to learn and Interact drafts a starter curriculum: a subject with nested sub-subjects, suggested resources, and goals. Edit it into shape rather than starting from a blank page.
A workflow that works
- Make a subject for the topic
- Add a goal so the finish line is visible
- Collect resources as you find them
- Generate or hand-write interactives from the material you study
- Review daily on the Learn page and adjust the plan as you learn
